Yes. Every recipe is formulated by animal nutritionists to FEDIAF guidelines, so it is a complete diet on its own — not a topper or a supplement.

The quiz recommends one based on your dog's age, weight, breed and anything you tell us about their digestion, skin or joints — including a grain or gluten sensitivity, which points the recommendation at Salmon + Sweet Potato, our only completely grain-free recipe.

Salmon + Sweet Potato is. Beef + Barley contains pearl barley at 5.1% and Turkey + Sweet Potato contains brown rice at 4% — two different grains, on purpose. Barley contains gluten and brown rice does not, so a dog that reacts to one recipe has somewhere to go inside the range rather than outside it, and Salmon + Sweet Potato stays completely grain free for dogs that need it. We have never used peas, lentils or other pulses — the ingredient group the FDA's 2018–19 DCM investigation pointed at.

Every recipe is single-protein and lists everything in it, so it is easy to avoid a known trigger. If your dog reacts to poultry or beef, Salmon + Sweet Potato is usually the safe choice — salmon is the only animal protein in it. For a grain or gluten sensitivity it is the only choice: Beef + Barley contains pearl barley and Turkey + Sweet Potato contains brown rice, while Salmon + Sweet Potato contains no grain at all. If you are working through a diagnosed allergy with your vet, check the ingredient list with them first.

Your plan comes portioned for your dog, with a scoop sized to their daily amount. Feed the scoop once or split it across two meals — whichever suits your routine.

You can serve it dry or add a little warm water to soften it and bring the smell out. Fussy dogs and older dogs usually prefer it rehydrated. Either way, keep fresh water down.

No. The box fits through most letterboxes and does not need refrigerating, so it is happy on the doorstep or with a neighbour until you get home.

You get a box on a repeating schedule — usually every four weeks — portioned for your dog. We email you a few days before each one is charged so nothing arrives as a surprise.

Yes. Move a delivery earlier or later, or change the interval entirely, from your account in a couple of taps. If your dog is eating faster or slower than expected, that is the setting to change.

Yes — skip a single delivery if you are away, or pause for as long as you like. Nothing is charged while you are paused.

Then you should not pay for it. If your dog turns their nose up at their first box, tell us within 30 days and we will refund it in full — you do not need to send the rest back. Give it a week of gradual mixing first; most fussy dogs come round once the old food is out of the bowl.
